Before you experience the fun awaiting you at Vakil Abad Park, it’s beneficial to learn a brief history of the park. When tracing the story of Vakil Abad in Mashhad, our journey led us to 1348 AH and the era of “Haj Hossein Malek” and Mirtaraz Garden (the former name of Vakil Abad Garden).
Haj Hossein Malek is a well-known figure among Mashhadis and even Tehranis. He was the one who generously dedicated many of his lands and properties to the people, including Vakil Abad Garden, Mashhad National Garden, Malek House of Mashhad, Sabai Garden of Tehran, and Malek Shahr Ray Palace.
