The Water Waves Land was built on land covering an area of 23 thousand square meters, with an infrastructure spanning 8500 square meters. This recreation center is unique in its kind and is recognized as the first and largest indoor water recreation complex in Iran. also is one of the best things to do in Mashhad.
It’s interesting to note that in 2010, the “Topsi Turvy” slide was recognized as the world’s best water slide by the Water Parks Association.

Water Waves Land has several separate sections for men, women, and children. Each section offers various entertainments. In the children’s section of the water park, children and teenagers can have fun with their family members.
The existence of such a section has made it easy for families to have fun together and not worry about their children anymore. The Land of Blue Waves has an area called Aquaplay where only children aged 3 to 10 are allowed to have fun. This space is colorful and has thus become a small water park for children.
The men’s section is a separate and dedicated hall that offers all the water sports mentioned in the previous section. With the introduction of a dedicated women’s section in Mashhad’s water parks, now men and women can have fun together in two separate sections simultaneously and without time limits.

Among the popular pools in wwl is the 40-meter-long “Wave pool”, designed entirely to resemble natural beaches. To create a more natural feeling, modern devices generate artificial waves in this pool. Besides the wave pool, there are other pools with varying depths in this park, perfect for swimming.
Slides
- Wave Slide: The height of the wave slide is 14 meters, and its length is 300 meters, making it the longest slide here. When you ride the tube and move down the slide, you’ll encounter strong waves from four directions, causing the tube to spin rapidly and boosting your speed on the wave slide.
- Super Loop Slide: Similar to the wave slide in height at 14 meters, this slide measures 120 meters in length. On the Super Loop slide, you’ll experience traveling at very high speeds while being immersed in water.
- Tornado Slide: The height of the slide is similar to the Super Loop slide, but its length is 130 meters. The Tornado slide looks as scary as a tornado, but when you ride this slide with several people, you’ll experience twice the fun.
- Slow Slide: The slow slides actually comprise a series of covered and intertwined slides, so you won’t know where you’ll go along the way, greatly enhancing the excitement of the ride.
- Speed Slide: In this slide, as the name suggests, you’ll experience high speeds. The speed slides are, in fact, the fastest slides in wwl, reaching a height of 11 meters.
- Free Fall Slide: The height of the free fall slide is 14 meters, and to use it, you have to position your body in a certain way. The guides at wwl will assist you in entering the compartment above the slide correctly. On this slide, you’ll be positioned on a platform that moves away once the operator presses a button, giving you the sensation of a free fall into the water.
- Twister Slide: This slide is designed with 360-degree twists and turns, standing at a height of 11 meters and spanning a length of 100 meters.
- Topsy Turvy Slide: This slide stands at a height of 11 meters and is one of the best types of water slides in this water park. The Topsy Turvy Slide is designed like a large funnel that leads into an 11-meter tunnel.
- Space Hole: In the space hole of wwl, you’ll be rapidly pulled towards a hole while simultaneously spinning around, ultimately entering a tunnel. The thrill of this experience is intense because you never know exactly when you’ll be drawn into the hole.
- Jet Wave Slide: On the Jet Wave Slide, you can ride a tube, and as the name suggests, you’ll experience very high speeds as you’re guided toward the pool.
Jacuzzi, Sauna, and Cold Water Pool
In this water park, you have access to various jacuzzis, saunas, and cold water pools. Currently, there is 1 steam sauna, 1 cold water pool, 1 jacuzzi, and 3 dry saunas available.
Calm and Roaring River
The calm and roaring rivers in wwl are designed specifically for tubing. These rivers span a length of 220 meters and are crafted to simulate the experience of riding on both calm and roaring waters.
